Managed Money and Fee-Based Advisory
In the fee space, whether using a straightforward fee-based approach or a more complex managed money approach, we have the tools and platform necessary to help you build an annuitized practice. Through our partner TD Ameritrade Institutional, you have access to an award-winning technology platform that includes world-class support, multiple research choices, a proposal generation capability as well as portfolio construction, management and re-balancing tools.
For your fee-based business, you have easy, point-and-click access to commission free equity trading and thousands of load-waived mutual funds. Or you can select from a platform of hundreds of world-class third-party asset managers and thousands of individual strategies with a choice of two platforms.
On the Separately Managed Account (SMA) platform, advisors are able to build and allocate across multiple managers and to fully delegate money management responsibilities to a team of experts so that they can focus on gathering assets and managing client relationships.
Our Unified Managed Account (UMA) solution is supported by an industry leading Turnkey Asset Management Program (TAMP) and provides even greater flexibility for fee-minded advisors and clients.
The UMA solution delivers the same access to world class third-party money management as our SMA solution but with the benefit of lowered minimums. It also allows for the inclusion of mutual funds, ETFs, UITs and individual securities.
We support the use of other major Turnkey Asset Management Programs and also support advisors who choose to work on a direct basis with third-party asset management firms and money managers.
